To our outstanding U14 champions,

Sunday may not have given us a full final due to the rain, but make no mistake—this victory was earned long before that day. Finishing top of the log is a true reflection of your hard work, consistency, and commitment throughout the entire season.

You didn’t just arrive at the final—you dominated your way there. And when the game was called, you were exactly where champions should be: at the top.
Playing through a cold and rainy day still showed your dedication and team spirit, and we are incredibly proud of what you have achieved together.

A huge thank you to every player, parent, and supporter who showed up despite the weather—your support means everything.
Enjoy this moment—you are champions, and you’ve earned it every step of the way!

24/03/2026

To our strong and determined U12 team,

Losing a final is never easy, especially after working so hard to get there. But what stood out most on Sunday wasn’t the result—it was your fight, your teamwork, and your refusal to give up, even in the rain and cold.

This team has shown incredible growth, and this moment will only make you stronger. Champions aren’t just made by winning—they’re built through moments like these.
Thank you to every player, parent, and supporter who braved the weather to stand with the team. Your support means everything.

Hold your heads high—you’ve made us proud.

24/03/2026

To our incredible U10 team,

Sunday didn’t give us the result we hoped for, and with the game being shortened due to the rain, it made it even tougher. But that does not take away from how proud we are of each and every one of you.

You played with heart, courage, and determination—even in the cold and wet conditions. That shows true character and love for the game.

Finals are never easy, and just getting there already makes you winners in our eyes. Keep smiling, keep learning, and most importantly, keep enjoying your cricket—your time is coming!

A big thank you to every parent, supporter, and player who showed up and stood strong in those conditions—we appreciate you more than you know.

SOB U14 Impalas – Finals Day đŸ’ȘđŸ”„

Tomorrow is more than just a final
it’s the closing chapter for some you as a junior. For many of you, this will be the last time you step onto the field as U14 players — and that makes it special.

Remember how far you’ve come. The early mornings, the tough practices, the wins, the losses, the laughs as a team — it’s all built YOU into the players you are today.

Play with heart.
Play for each other.
Play with pride.

Leave everything on that field — not just for the win, but for the memories you’ll carry forward.

Scoreboard aside, you are already champions in the way you’ve grown, supported one another, and represented your team.

To Our Returning U14 Impalas 💙
While this may not be your final chapter, it’s an important part of your journey. Tomorrow is a chance to show how much you’ve grown — and to build the foundation for the season ahead.

Take in every moment, learn from your teammates, and carry the pride of this team forward. You are the future of the Impalas, and what you do now will shape what comes next

Make it count. Make it yours. đŸ”„

One last game. One team. One family.
Let’s go Impalas! 🏏💙

🏏 SOB Premium Cricket – A Tough but Rewarding Month!
It has been a challenging month of Premium Cricket for SOB. The team experienced the highs and lows of the game — losing by just 1 run against Alberton Cricket Club, followed by a tough match against Bedfordview Cricket Club. However, the team bounced back in style with a brilliant 10-wicket victory against Midrand Cricket Club.
This past Sunday, SOB faced Avion Cricket Club at Hoërskool Kempton Park fields.
SOB won the toss and chose to bat first. A solid all-round batting performance saw the team post 158 runs, with Tebogo Gaduka leading the charge with an excellent 47 runs against a strong Avion bowling attack.
Defending 158, captain Rickus Neethling led from the front with a superb spell:
‱ 7 overs, 43 runs, 3 wickets
Other standout bowling performances:
‱ Ruben Wesson – 7 overs, 25 runs, 2 wickets
‱ Christi Neethling – 5 overs, 9 runs, 2 wickets
‱ Neill Joubert – 2 overs, 8 runs, 2 wickets
Behind the stumps, Dylan Samson showed great skill with the gloves, including a sharp stumping off Neill Joubert. A brilliant catch at extra cover by Sihle Mahlangu, dismissing Avion’s captain on 50 runs, proved to be a turning point in the match.
🏆 SOB secured the win by 45 runs!
Well done to the whole team for the resilience and teamwork shown throughout the month.
