She was never asking for permission to be powerful.
She was only asking for room to become.
Make room for the woman with a vision.
For the girl whose voice is still finding its strength.
For the woman who leads, builds, speaks, dreams, and dares to take up space.
Because when a woman takes up space,
she does not take it away from anyone—
she reminds the world that there was always room for her.
May we raise girls who never learn to shrink themselves.
May we create spaces where women can lead without apology,
and may every young girl see a woman in leadership and think,
“I can be that too.”
To every woman taking up space, making space,
and creating space for those coming after her—
