Another fantastic Grey Ghost taken right before darkness closed in.

There’s something special about kudu hunting in the final moments of the day… the fading light, the bush going quiet, and then suddenly the unmistakable spiral horns of Africa’s Grey Ghost appear.

Patience, persistence, and perfect timing. Another unforgettable African hunting memory.

A truly magnificent black giraffe bull — a sight that never gets old.

As giraffe bulls mature, their coat patterns can become significantly darker. The oldest, most mature bulls can develop an exceptionally dark, almost black appearance, making these animals some of the most impressive trophies the African bush has to offer.

A mature giraffe bull like this is not simply about the trophy. Well-managed hunting is an important part of wildlife conservation in Africa. Sustainable hunting can generate revenue that helps fund habitat protection, anti-poaching efforts, local communities and the continued management of healthy wildlife populations.

Taking a mature bull means removing an animal that has already contributed years of genetics to the population while creating an economic incentive to keep wild habitat intact.

Hunt the oldest. Protect the wild. Preserve the legacy.

As the sun dips below the African horizon and the bush falls silent, the Gray Ghost begins to move.

The magnificent kudu has earned its legendary nickname for good reason. Blending effortlessly into the shadows with its slate-gray coat and incredible ability to disappear into thick bush, a mature bull can seem to vanish right before your eyes. Last light is when these elusive giants often become most active, making every minute count.

There is nothing quite like spotting the spiral horns of a trophy kudu emerging from the fading light, heart racing as the final moments of the day unfold. It’s a hunt that demands patience, sharp eyes, and respect for one of Africa’s most iconic antelope.

The Gray Ghost isn’t just hunted—it’s pursued, admired, and remembered for a lifetime.

Would you take on the challenge?

The perfect ending to the perfect day.

As the sun disappears beyond the African bush, the stories grow, the fire crackles, and tomorrow’s adventure begins to take shape. There’s something special about ending a day around the campfire, surrounded by good company and the sounds of the wild.

This is more than a hunt. It’s an experience you’ll never forget.

🔥 Live the Legacy.

Some trophies demand more than a sharp eye—they demand patience, persistence, and respect for the mountain.

The Mountain Reedbuck is a true master of camouflage. Among the rugged rocks and steep slopes of the Waterberg Mountains, they blend into the landscape so perfectly that you can walk past one without ever knowing it was there.

This is mountain hunting at its finest. Every step, every glassing point, and every careful approach is earned. When you finally spot that subtle outline hidden among the rocks, you realize why pursuing a Mountain Reedbuck is such a rewarding challenge.

The Waterberg doesn’t give up its secrets easily—but that’s exactly what makes the hunt unforgettable.

Live the Legacy.

As Professional Hunters, we’re usually focused on making sure our clients have the hunt of a lifetime. We spend countless days guiding, tracking, glassing, and celebrating their success, often leaving very little time for hunting ourselves.

This time, though, I was fortunate enough to be on the other side of the rifle.

What made it even more special was the animal itself—an impala ewe with horns, a rare trophy in its own right. To top it all off, her horns are shaped almost exactly like those of a sable, making her one of the most unique impalas I’ve ever come across.

To top it all off I had the privilege to do this with my brother Ryan sorour .It’s moments like these that remind us why we fell in love with hunting in the first place. Not every trophy is measured in inches—sometimes it’s the story, the rarity, and the memories that make an animal truly special.

This is what a real dugga boy buffalo looks like.

Not young. Not pretty. Not perfect.

Old. Battle-tested. Worn down by years of survival.

Those horns aren’t polished — they’re ancient, scarred, and heavy with history. Every chip, every curve tells a story of droughts, fights, and seasons most never survive.

This is the boss of the bush.
The kind that doesn’t need to prove anything anymore.

Raw. Honest. Untamed

Some moments in the bush remind you exactly why we do what we do…

Earlier this week, we were fortunate enough to spot a true once-in-a-lifetime klipspringer in one of African Bovine Safaris’ hunting areas. These incredible little antelope are already masters of staying unseen, perfectly blending into the rocky terrain they call home — but this one stood out as something truly special.

Perched high up on the rocks, alert and steady as ever, it was a rare glimpse into the wild at its finest. Encounters like this aren’t just about the hunt — they’re about appreciation, patience, and respect for the animals and the land that sustains them.

It’s sightings like these that remind us: every outing holds the potential for something unforgettable.

The White Rhino – A True Conservation Success Story 🦏

Seeing these incredible animals roaming freely in one of our areas is something we never take for granted. The white rhino is not just a symbol of Africa’s wild beauty — it’s a testament to what real conservation can achieve.

What many people don’t realize is that these animals survive and thrive largely because of sustainable hunting and conservation funding. Every dollar spent by ethical hunters goes directly back into:
• Anti-poaching units
• Habitat management
• Veterinary care
• Breeding and population growth

Without this support, protecting species like the white rhino would be nearly impossible.

In our area, these rhino are protected, monitored, and given the space they need to grow their numbers — and that’s made possible by responsible conservation models.

This is what conservation looks like on the ground. Real impact. Real results.
