Himalayan Mountain Tahrs calling Table Mountain home since 1936.
These animals are an invasive species but it is still super epic when you encounter them on Table Mountain.

Lion's Head Sunset Hikes always deliver.

Some cloudy skies prevented a view of the moonrise but that did not damper the moment at all.

If you know me you know I love the 13 Peaks Challenge.
It remains in my opinion one of the best ways to experience our beautiful Cape Town.
Experiencing this wonderful city and its surrounding beauty from above and seeing how and where all the suburbs and trails, etc connect is priceless.

Earlier this month I had the privilege to complete my 20th 13 Peaks when I took the crew from Ordinarily Active - Be the Change all the way from Ballito which included great friends Angela Panagiotopoulos and Absolute Legends owner and coach Minette Van Zyl on an epic 4 day adventure of this route.

Starting Day One at Signal Hill and following in order: Lion's Head, Mclear's Beacon, Grootkop, and Judas Peak all the way to our finish for the day at Suikerbossie Restaurant in Houtbay.

This is the hardest day. Peaks are close together and there is a lot of climbing including the humbling Platteklip Gorge.

But get through days one and two and things start to get a lot easier.

We offer this route as a sub 48 (2 Day) trail run or Multi Day hike over 4 or 6 segments.

Get in contact if you want to take on the 13 Peaks Challenge with us.

Happy National Women's Day!
Today, SummitFit Adventures celebrates every woman who's ever laced up her boots, chalked her hands, or shown up for one more rep when it would've been easier to quit.
To our female clients and members: you don't just chase summits — you become them. Strong on the trail. Stronger in the gym. Unstoppable everywhere else.
Here's to the women who lift each other up, one step and one set at a time. We see you, we celebrate you, and we're proud to grow alongside you.
