💛🖤 THANK YOU, METRO STARS FAMILY! 🖤💛
As the 2025/2026 HollywoodBets Regional League (Sedibeng) season comes to an end, we reflect on a campaign filled with determination, sacrifice, resilience, and unforgettable moments.
We are proud to have finished 4th in one of the most competitive seasons in recent years. While we fell short of achieving promotion, we can proudly say that we fought until the very end. Sometimes, despite giving everything, success arrives in its own time. This season has simply reminded us that perhaps it was not our time yet.
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Boipatong FC and Ben 10 FC on securing promotion to the ABC Motsepe League as the proud representatives of the Sedibeng Region. Your consistency, hard work, and commitment throughout the season have earned you this opportunity. We wish you every success as you represent our region at the next level.
To our players, thank you for your commitment, discipline, and for wearing the Metro Stars FC badge with pride. Every training session, every challenge, every victory, and every setback has contributed to the identity of this club.
To our technical team and management, thank you for the countless hours invested behind the scenes. Your dedication, leadership, and belief in this project have played a significant role in the growth of Metro Stars FC.
To our loyal supporters, sponsors, families, and everyone who stood with us throughout the season, thank you. Your unwavering support gave us the strength to keep believing, even during the most difficult moments.
As one chapter comes to an end, another is about to begin. Football is a game of constant change. New opportunities arise, new challenges emerge, and difficult decisions sometimes have to be made. Some players may seek new opportunities to further their careers, members of the technical team may embrace new challenges, and the club itself will continue to evolve as it pursues its long-term vision.
Whatever the future may hold, one thing will never change: every individual who has contributed to Metro Stars FC will forever remain part of this club's history. Their commitment, sacrifices, and passion have helped shape the foundation upon which the future of this club will continue to be built.
Football is not only measured by promotions and trophies. It is also measured by the lives touched, the lessons learned, the friendships built, and the character developed along the journey. This season has strengthened us, humbled us, and reminded us that setbacks are often preparations for greater achievements.
Although we leave this season with mixed emotions, we also leave it with hope. Hope that the work invested today will bear fruit tomorrow. Hope that every challenge has prepared us for the opportunity that lies ahead. And hope that Metro Stars FC will continue to grow into a club that our community can always be proud of.
To everyone who has been part of this journey, Thank you.
Together, we stand.
In God, We Trust.
In God, We Shall Conquer.
Amen!
