💗🎗️ WAGENMAKERSVALLEI RFC STANDS WITH WOMEN AGAINST BREAST CANCER! 🎗️💗

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Wagenmakersvallei RFC stands in solidarity with every woman affected by breast cancer — those currently fighting, those who have overcome it, those still awaiting answers, and the families who walk this journey alongside them.

We stand for awareness, early detection, support, hope and strength. No woman should have to face this journey alone. 💕

To every woman fighting this battle: you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone. We honour the survivors, remember those we have lost, and continue to pray for everyone affected by this disease.

💗 Wear pink. Spread awareness. Show support.

Because together, we are stronger!

One Club. One Purpose. Together We Rise. 💙💛💗

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 💙💛

As Wagenmakersvallei RFC, we stand together against Gender-Based Violence, femicide and all forms of violence against women and children.

Our women are our mothers, our sisters, our daughters, our wives, our friends and our community. They deserve to live without fear. They deserve safety, dignity, respect and equality.

As a rugby club, we believe that real strength is not found in violence — it is found in character, respect and standing up for what is right.

🏉 Real Men Don’t Hurt Women.
🛑 End the violence.
🗣️ Speak out.
🤝 Support survivors.
❤️ Respect women and girls.

Let us use our voices, our platforms and our influence to help build a safer community and a safer South Africa.

A safer tomorrow starts with ALL of us.

RESPECT | EQUALITY | UNITY | CHANGE

🚴🏽‍♂️🌸 WAGIES TAKING ON THE NAMAQUA QUEST! 💙💛

Wagenmakersvallei RFC would like to congratulate our Management Team member, Dirk Samuels, on an incredible achievement this past weekend! 👏🏽

Dirk took on the Namaqua Quest MTB & Trail Run together with one of his friends, completing the challenging 3-day cycling event through the beautiful Namaqua region during flower season. 🌸🚴🏽‍♂️

What makes this achievement even more special is that they were joined by one of our valued Wagenmakersvallei RFC supporter, Isak Cupido, who took on the 3-day Trail Run and came out on top, winning the Trail Run! 🏆🔥

Congratulations, Isak! What an incredible achievement! 👏🏽🏆 We are extremely proud to have you as part of the Wagies family and to see our supporters representing with such determination and excellence.

And to Dirk — well done on taking on three days of demanding cycling! Your commitment, endurance and determination are truly admirable. 🚴🏽‍♂️💪🏽

This weekend reminded us once again that the Wagies spirit goes far beyond the rugby field. It is about friendship, community, perseverance and supporting one another in every challenge we take on.

Well done, Dirk, Isak and your fellow rider! 💙💛

💙💛 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS 💛💙

Dear Wagenmakersvallei RFC Family,

As we look back on the 2026 league season, we first and foremost want to give all the glory and honour to God. 🙏

Without God, Wagenmakersvallei RFC would not exist. He has carried this club, our players, our committee, our families and our supporters through every challenge. There were many moments this season when things were difficult, but God continued to make a way and gave us the strength to keep going.

Last week, we played our final league match of the 2026 season. Although we did not end the league with the win we had hoped for, we are still incredibly grateful for the journey and for every person who stood beside us.

I truly believe that 2026 has been one of the most difficult seasons Wagenmakersvallei RFC has endured. It tested us in many ways, both on and off the field. The results were not always what we wanted, and there were certainly moments when the road ahead felt challenging.

But through it all, our supporters remained faithful. 💙💛🤍

To every person who came to our matches, travelled with us, supported our fundraisers, encouraged our players, helped behind the scenes, donated, sponsored us, shared our posts, prayed for us, or simply stood on the sideline cheering for our boys — THANK YOU.

You have shown us what true support looks like.

A true supporter does not only stand with a team when they are winning. A true supporter stays when the results are difficult, when the journey is hard, and when the victories are few.

And you stayed.

For that, we are immensely grateful. ❤️

To our players, coaches, management, volunteers, sponsors, families and every single supporter of Wagenmakersvallei RFC — thank you for believing in this club and for continuing to stand with us.

The 2026 league season may not have ended the way we had hoped, but this is not the end of our story. We will learn, we will grow, we will rebuild, and we will continue moving forward.

And above all, we will continue to put our trust in God, because He is the foundation of Wagenmakersvallei RFC.

The scoreboards may not always reflect the fight, the heart and the journey behind a team — but God sees it all. 🙏

Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for being part of our Wagenmakersvallei family.

May God bless every person who has supported this club. 💙💛🤍

Wagenmakersvallei RFC — Together we stand. Together we rise. 🏉

With sincere gratitude,
Ms. Danelene Dampies 🌻

Fenomenale Vrou – Danelene Dampies💙💛
