Altar of Fire Global Prayer Network is a global community of intercessors, watchmen, and prophetic voices raised by God to keep the fire of prayer burning across the nations. AOFGPN is a consecrated altar where believers gather to align with the heartbeat of God, enforce His will on earth, and stand in the gap for families, churches, and nations (Ezekiel 22:30).
We are called to rebuild broken altars (1 Kings 18:30), revive the spirit of prayer, and awaken a generation to the raw, unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8). Through fervent intercession (James 5:16), prophetic utterances (Joel 2:28), deep worship (John 4:23–24), and spiritual warfare (2 Corinthians 10:4), we ignite divine encounters that transform lives, restore destinies, and release revival.
At AOFGPN, prayer is a lifestyle, a mandate, and a spiritual assignment (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We strengthen believers (Ephesians 6:18), empower ministers (2 Timothy 1:6), raise watchmen (Isaiah 62:6–7), and equip a generation that moves in power, purity, and prophetic insight (Psalm 24:3–4).

Last week's message was centered on storms and how a Christian can still face challenges while carrying Jesus.

Scripture Reference: Mark 4:35-41

"A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke Him and said to Him, 'Teacher, don't you care if we drown?' He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, 'Quiet! Be still!' Then the wind died down and it was completely calm."* — Mark 4:37-39 (NIV)

Senior Pastor Benson taught that Jesus was in the boat with the disciples, yet the storm still came. This reminds us that being a Christian does not exempt us from trials, difficulties, or even sickness. Storms are a part of life, but being overcome by them is not our portion.

One key lesson was not to limit God's functionality. Too often, we reduce God to the size of our understanding, yet our capacity is determined by our faith. When facing battles and challenges, faith expands what God can do through us and for us.

The presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God. In fact, it is often in the middle of the storm that His power is revealed the most.

No matter what storm you may be facing today, remember that if Jesus is in your boat, you have every reason to trust that you will make it to the other side.
