A message of Condolences for Namakando Mumbuna!
It is with deep sadness that Kitwe Cheetahs Athletics Club has learned of the passing of our former athlete, Mumbuna Namakando.
He began his athletics journey with Kitwe Cheetahs, where his talent, dedication, and discipline became evident from an early stage. His commitment to excellence saw him grow into a remarkable athlete, eventually joining the Zambia Police Service, where he served with the same dedication and integrity that defined his sporting career.
Throughout his journey, he remained a disciplined and respected athlete, proudly representing Nkwazi Athletics Club while continuing to inspire many through his hard work, humility, and sportsmanship.
His passing is a great loss to the athletics fraternity, the Zambia Police Service, his family, friends, teammates, and everyone whose lives he touched. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him and witnessing his achievements.
On behalf of the Cheetahs Family, we extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family, the Zambia Police Service, Nkwazi Athletics Club, and the Zambia Athletics family. May God grant you strength and comfort during this difficult time.
May the soul of Namakando rest in eternal peace.
Coach Mike.
