FAZ Central Province Chairperson, Chisanga P**e, expressed his gratitude for the continued support. “Afriseed Zambia has consistently demonstrated its commitment to developing women’s football at the grassroots level. Their partnership provides not just financial support but also motivation for young female players across the province,” he said.

RELIABLE UTILITIES ZAMBIA BOOSTS FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT WITH OFFICIAL MATCH BALL SPONSORSHIP IN CENTRAL PROVINCE

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Central Province wishes to announce a new partnership with Reliable Utilities Zambia Limited aimed at supporting football development across all leagues in the province through the supply of official match balls.

The partnership was officially unveiled during the 2025 FAZ Central Province Awards Gala held at Farmers Nest in Kabwe, attended by FAZ officials, club representatives, and members of the corporate community.

Through this collaboration, Reliable Utilities Zambia Limited becomes the official match ball sponsor for FAZ Central Province leagues, covering Division One, Division Two, Division Three, and the Women’s Leagues.

A total of 716 official KOPA match balls have already been purchased and are ready for distribution to clubs across the province. The initiative is part of FAZ Central Province’s continued efforts to promote professionalism, consistency, and quality in local football.

The confirmed distribution plan is as follows:

* Division One: 5 balls per team
* Afriseed Women’s League: 5 balls per team
* Division Two: 4 balls per team
* Division Three: 3 balls per team
* Women’s District Leagues: 3 balls per team

In addition to the distribution, Reliable Utilities Zambia Limited has introduced a subsidized extra pack program to make it easier for clubs to access additional balls at affordable rates.

SUBSIDIZED EXTRA PACKS
Each team can purchase an extra pack of three balls at K350 each (K1,050 per pack). However, the purchase must be made jointly by three teams at once. Replacement balls will be available at K600 each.

Teams wishing to purchase extra balls can do so through the FAZ Central Province offices under this arrangement.

Speaking after the announcement, FAZ Central Province Chairperson Chisanga P**e expressed gratitude to Reliable Utilities Zambia Limited for their support, noting that the partnership will go a long way in enhancing football standards and sustainability in the province.

He further reminded all participating clubs that no team will be allowed to use any other match ball apart from the official KOPA match ball during league matches.

The FAZ Central Province Association remains committed to building strong partnerships that promote football development, create opportunities for clubs, and uplift the standard of the game at all levels.
