We suffered a tough defeat yesterday at Macraymond Ground.

Kalomo Young Snipers took an early lead in the first half, but our boys stayed composed and continued to play our football with confidence. We went into halftime trailing 1–0.

In the second half, the team showed great character and determination. Our efforts paid off when Innocent Muchindu scored a late equalizer, bringing us back into the game.

However, in added time, the opponents scored two quick goals. The outcome was heavily influenced by poor and questionable refereeing decisions, which we believe were biased and unfair.

As Michigan Academy, we accept the result, but we strongly feel that the officiating did not meet the expected standards. Incidents such as referees receiving refreshments from one side at halftime raise serious concerns about professionalism and neutrality.

Despite this setback, we remain focused.

What an exciting match yesterday! Our senior team showed great determination and fighting spirit throughout the game.

We opened the scoring through Gift Mudenda, heading into halftime with a 1:0 lead. After the break, Dundumwenzi came back strong and equalized to make it 1:1.

Our boys responded well under pressure, with Erick Mudenda restoring the lead to 2:1. However, defensive lapses allowed Dundumwenzi to equalize again at 2:2.

Despite the pressure, the team stayed focused and committed — and it paid off! Emmanuel Ngulube scored the decisive third goal, securing a well-deserved 3:2 victory.
