Kapiri Turn-Off Hold Lunchu All Stars to a 1-1 Draw

Kapiri Turn-Off and Lunchu All Stars played to a 1-1 draw in an exciting FAZ Central Division Two Zone B encounter.
The visitors, Lunchu All Stars, took an early lead in the 13th minute of the first half through Mulenga Chama.

The T Junction Boyz responded positively and kept pushing for an equalizer, but the Lunchu goalkeeper made several crucial saves to keep his side ahead as the first half ended 0-1.
At the start of the second half, Kapiri Turn-Off made important substitutions, with Nathan Mulwanda making way for Arnold Siwale, while Mapalo Bweupe was replaced by Frank Siwila. The home side dominated much of the second half, controlling possession and creating chances, but Lunchu All Stars’ defense remained solid.

The visitors also threatened on the counterattack, with their winger finding himself one-on-one with goalkeeper Cranston, who produced an excellent save to deny Lunchu a second goal.

As the game looked to be heading for a narrow victory for the visitors, Kapiri Turn-Off found a late breakthrough in the 86th minute. After a good interchange of passes in midfield, John Munje set up Gift Shakalambe, who delivered an excellent long pass to Jairos Goma.
Goma beat his marker in a one-on-one situation before firing a powerful shot into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

The late equalizer was Jairos Goma’s 16th goal of the season in FAZ Central Division Two Zone B.
Just six minutes later, the referee blew the final whistle as Kapiri Turn-Off earned a hard-fought point against Lunchu All Stars.
