🇿🇲 When Footballers Were Heroes, Not “Unserious” Students ⚽😂🙌

These days, Parents at home will beat a child for playing football, call him “you’re unserious!” 😭
Then the same parents will go to the viewing centre later, shouting and crying,

“Chipolopolo! Make we win this match o!”😂

🤣🤣 irony of life!

Back in the day, if you were good at football, your school treated you like royalty.😊 You’d walk around with small swagger —girls🤣 knew your name, teachers respected your talent, and the principal even prayed for you before matches. 🏅

But now? We’ve turned our school fields into classrooms, our coaches into maths teachers, and our young stars into “distractions.” 💔
We forgot that those same “unserious kids” once gave us Olympic medal a bronze, Africa Cup of Nations,COSAFA Cup,FIFA U17 Qualified to World Cup,U20 Qualified to World Cup and national pride.

Today
No more football fields. No more interschool tournaments.
We replaced goals with grades, and somehow we still wonder why our football is dying.

Zambia 🇿🇲can be great again — but only if we go back to where dreams started:
in the dust, in school fields, in the laughter of kids chasing a ball barefoot with big dreams.
That’s where greatness was born. 🇿🇲⚽
