This is to officially inform the public that the Hon. Nason C. Musonda Ng'ona Ward Football Tournament Grand Final has been confirmed and will take place on:

📍 Venue: Tawana Ground, Kawambwa

As we are currently in the political season, we appeal to everyone attending the matches to uphold the true spirit of football by promoting peace, unity, respect, integrity, dignity, and sportsmanship. Let us celebrate football as one community regardless of our different political affiliations.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

RE: POSTPONEMENT OF THE NG'ONA WARD TOURNAMENT FINAL SCHEDULED FOR 5TH JULY 2026 AT TAWANA GROUND

The Kawambwa District Sports Association (KADSA) wishes to inform all participating teams, football supporters, sponsors, and the general public that the Ng'ona Ward Tournament Final, which was scheduled to take place on 5th July 2026 at Tawana Ground, has been postponed to 9th August 2026.

This decision has been made after carefully considering the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) electoral calendar and the current electoral period. The postponement is a precautionary measure intended to promote peace, maintain public order, and avoid any misunderstandings or incidents that could affect the safety and harmony of our communities.

KADSA remains committed to promoting football as a platform for unity, friendship, talent development, and community engagement. We therefore encourage all football lovers, participating teams, and supporters across Kawambwa District to continue upholding the values of peace, respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.

We kindly appeal to everyone to receive this decision with understanding and cooperation. This postponement should not be interpreted as a political decision but rather as a responsible measure taken in the best interest of preserving peace, ensuring the smooth running of the tournament, and protecting the integrity of the game during this important period.

We sincerely appreciate the patience and continued support of all teams, supporters, and stakeholders. We look forward to hosting an exciting and peaceful tournament final on 9th August 2026.
