Be advised that due to a unique calendar for this year there will be only one window registration during the transition league

Transition league season opens today 1st June 2026 UpTo 31st August 2026

And transition league in lusaka division one, two, three, four and five will commerce in September 2026 to December 2026

Teams start registering players between now to august 2026....
If you fail to register your player between now and august 2026 it'll mean the player will be ineligible to feature for your team
Do the right thing to avoid being docked points....

NEW LEAGUE CALENDAR

During the AGM FAZ council approved to shift the seasonal calendar from August/May to March/December

In order to adjust to the March to November calendar
We have a transitional league from September 2026 to December 2026
This is for all zambian football structures (mtn super league, national league and provincial leagues)

So the transition league will run from September to December this year 2026 where teams will be divided into two streams eg ( division one will have two zones zone A and zone B) each zone will have 10 teams

After the transition league period we have the normal and shifted calender which will effectively run from March 2027 to November/December 2027

🚨 RELEGATION STATUS

The issue of relegation in division 2 & 3 is all depending on the confirmation of the adjusting to 20 teams.

If they increase to 20 teams in D2 & D3 only two teams will then be demoted/relegated

In the case we have 20 teams next season in D2 it'll mean Happy Hearts and King Soccer Academy will survive only Chilanga Stars & Kabwata Dynamos will be relegated to division three..

Just like in D2 we have the same situation in an event they increase to 20 teams it will mean Zicosports and Munali Rangers will survive and only Bauleni Tigers and Thuso Sports Management will be demoted to division four....

All these circumstances lie on the increasing teams from 18 to 20

If they increase to 20 only two teams will be demoted in division two and three respectively
