Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Tackle Zambia Showcase at the residence of Her Excellency Rebecca Terzeon, British High Commissioner to Zambia, at the invitation of Her Excellency, in partnership with Tackle and the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA).
The event showcased how football can be used as a powerful tool to facilitate learning and communicate important messages to young people about STIs, gender-based violence (GBV), family planning, and HIV.
It was also an honour to interact with different stakeholders who were in attendance including members of Zambia’s 2012 AFCON winning team, Christopher Katongo and Isaac Chansa.
