SPENT LAST WEEK WITH THE CORPORATE AFFAIRS TEAM AT ZESCO.
Our Adult Education Specialist Alinedi Soko spent last week in Siavonga facilitating a Team Alignment Session with the Corporate Affairs Department at ZESCO.
Over the two days, the team created space for deeper conversations, alignment, reflection, and connection beyond titles and functions. There were powerful insights, moments of laughter, honest conversations, and important commitments made around the team’s ways of working going forward.
Sometimes the most impactful sessions are not the loudest ones, but the ones that create safe spaces, strengthen alignment, and shift the way people engage with each other long after the workshop ends.
Thank you to ZESCO for trusting us with your team. We look forward to the next one.

We kicked off the week with Agova and Tandem and what a start it was.
Diving into Team Alignment, the energy in the room was clear: honest conversations, shared clarity, and most importantly, actionable next steps. That moment when a workshop doesn’t just inspire but immediately creates momentum? That’s the real win.
If your team is ready to move from discussion to direction, let’s make it happen.

Spotlight Wednesday
Today we shine the light on the only man on the TLC team Valentine Chitifi.
What do we appreciate about him?
Honestly… what don’t we appreciate?
He is incredibly articulate, a single conversation with him pulls you in and leaves you thinking differently. He is deeply obsessed with teams (in the best way possible), and every interaction with him leaves you with practical value you can immediately apply to your team.
His work ethic? Exceptional.
Throw something at him and it’s handled before it even lands. That level of ownership, speed, and excellence is rare.
Valentine, you are a true reflection of hard work, discipline, and commitment to impact.
We appreciate you

Meet the TLC Team… according to ChatGPT
We asked AI to generate caricatures of each team member and let’s just say… it understood the assignment.
From the “strategy mastermind” to the “energy in human form,” the “detail detective,” and the “calm-but-powerful facilitator” somehow, the algorithm picked up what makes each of us uniquely powerful.
But here’s the real takeaway
Technology can reflect personality.
It can analyze patterns.
It can even exaggerate our strengths in the funniest ways.
What it can’t replace?
The human connection, emotional intelligence, and intentional leadership we bring into every room.
At Training Leaders Consortium, we blend innovation with authenticity and if AI sees us this clearly, imagine what we see in the teams we work with 😉
Which caricature do you think is the most accurate?
We know there is one missing

For many team members, silence feels like the safest first response. Staying quiet avoids conflict, protects relationships, and keeps you from being misunderstood or judged. In the moment, silence can feel like maturity — a way to keep the peace and move on.
But over time, what isn’t said begins to weigh heavily. Unasked questions turn into assumptions, small frustrations grow into resentment, and engagement quietly drops. When silence becomes the default, teams lose clarity, trust, and momentum. Speaking up, respectfully and early isn’t disruption; it’s contribution.
If this resonates, it might be time to look closely at how communication shows up in your team. What’s being said, what’s being avoided, and what silence is costing you. Healthy teams don’t guess, they talk.
Reach out and let’s have that conversation.
