ROUND 1 LEAGUE STANDINGS!!!

After an intense first round of the first ever LAMU Interfaculty Football League we see a surprising turn of events, were Radiation FC is on top of things with 10points having only lost a single match in their last 5 games, they seat comfortably in the first position looking to maintain the state of affairs.

In what seemed impossible after having a terrible start in the league, the Nurses resurfaced to show their prowess and form to occupy 2nd position with only a point separating them from the league leaders Radiation FC, FC Nursing lost their first 2 opening matches and turned tables by winning their last 3 matches.

Third position is occupied by HSFC who seem to be steady and well collected, they only need 3points to book their spot back in the driving seat!!

The relegation battle is between PDFC and the once peoples favorites Medicine FC who seem to have atleast some consistency in something, “losing”, Medicine FC have not won any of their last 3 matches and they sit 5th in the league.

PDFC sits bottom of the table with only 2 points, Premed FC is yet to win a single Game in the history of the league!!!

With the League managers looking to roll-out the latest 2024/2025 English Premier league matchballs ⚽️ into the league, winds blowing in all directions, all teams seemingly to be in their best form, which faculty’s will carry all 3points? Maybe share points?

MHCFC clinch top of the table for the very first time this season Question is will they hold on for long with the RDFC right on their tail occupying 2nd Position. The 3rd and 4 positions are occupied by FCMD and BHFC Respectively separated by a point.
The relegation contenders are FCN in 5th after recording their first win against Pharmacy, as
PDFC struggles to record their 1st ever win they occupy the 6th spot.

GAMEWEEK 4 RESULTS

The LIL was raining goals in Matchday 4 giving us 11 goals of the day!!

The day was started by HCFC Vs RDFC that shared points in a 1-1 draw.

Medicine FC battled with Premed FC a game which saw thrilling 4 goals still not enough to separate the two giants who shared a point each.

Like it was not enough action of the day the pharmacists were up against the Bedmakers. The bedmakers took advantage of the cold weather by getting the drug lords to bed to bag their 1st win of season in a 5 - 0 beating.

Watch out for current standings ahead of another exciting MATCHDAY.

Hello LAMU football league Funatics we are back this Saturday with another exciting set of fixtures, To get us underway will be the Relegation contenders FC Nursing Vs Premed FC at 09:00hrs.

The Drug Lords are looking to host the Massage specialists, in what is expected to be the most exciting match of the day at 11:00hrs

We will conclude the day with the log leaders Radiation FC facing the 3rd placed Medicine FC

The LAMU football league GAMEWEEK 2 was packed with so much drama that was raining goals.

In the opening match between FC MEDICINE who hosted their all time rivals BPHARM FC at Estadio De Tick saw some highly venomous strikes and multiple chances, The Doctors Struck early with a long range free kick from outside the box by recently celebrated LAMU player of the year Buchizya Stanley Nkhoma who caught the BPharm Goal keeper napping.
The doctors led the Druglords into the second half but not for long as the Pharmacist changed the state of affairs with goal from to bring the state of affairs to level with an assist from the Luanshya Youth Academy number 6 Silundu Emmanuel AKA ‘Simple’ this was just enough to for both teams to bag a point each at Full time.

Like it wasn’t enough we were stunned by the match between The Nursing FC now called ’Demolishers’ who hosted the Black Devils Health Sciences FC in a match that had 3 goals that really demolished the demolishers. The devils struck early in the opening 5minutes of the match with Alick Luchembe popularly known as ‘Superstar’ among his teammates from range after an assit from Choolwe Hamakole the sides Centre forward.

The Dumpsite specialist did not give the bedmakers a chance to recover as they struck again this time with their Right Back Steve who interchanged passes with again Choolwe Hamakole with a good through ball to find the back of the net just before halftime. After the break the demolishers had their examination gloves on and tried to respond with one of their daily gun a 10Cc syringe from their Centre back but this jab was rendered a placebo to the devils as it only contained Normal saline, Towards the Full time whistle the Chunga Dumpsite destined Bedmakers were handed another goal from Hamzâ Jafary making it 3 nill in what seemed to be a day for the white donning life savers.
Following the Full time whistle the Nursing FC Captian when asked for an interview with us he said he had nothing to say after a mouthul prematch interview, clearly he couldn’t say anything under the curtains of a massage parlor or at Chunga Dumpsite, we however spoke to the Vice Captian who applauded the HSFC and hoped the team get back to the drawing board and do better in their next encounter.

The day was concluded by the League leaders Radiation FC against the “Cell Biology” giants premed,
The now becoming peoples favorites Radiation FC struck early in the opening 7minutes with with a Header in the box from a corner kick in which the Plasma Membrane kings were ball watching in a situation were their hydrophilic phosphate heads of their defensive bilayer were too close to the hydrophobic tails, only if they followed the accepted Fluid Mosaic model of defending their goal.
At HT the RDFC went comfortably leading by a goal, they came back with a lot more chances in a match they could have barred more goals if not for their right winger who almost had his boots behind his larynx on several occasions, despite that PDFC ran out of energy as their Mitochondria could just not make anymore ATP. Towards FT one more set of Radiation was released from a long ball that found the PDFC defenders yet again napping into a 3v1 situation, a Chance that the Current favorites took and scored in the 93rd minute to Seal it with 2 goals to nill.

Radiation FC seat comfortably at the top with 6points after GW2 seperating them from the 2nd and 3rd placed BPharm FC and FC Medicine respectively with 4 points each, HSFC Is occupying 4th with 3pts after securing their 1st win.

The bottom is occupied by relagation contenders PremedFC and Nursing FC in 5th and 6th position respectively both yet to register a win and only seperated by goals allowed.

LIL MATCHDAY 2

A pleasant afternoon all, here are your matchday 2 fixtures.

We will kick start the day with the ‘league leaders’ after MD1 separated only by the alphabet FC Medicine against BPharm FC, a tough game on paper but the odds look to favor the Doctors as they had more chances to convert in their last 2nd half win against Health Sciences FC, but will the pharmacists respond? We wait for Saturday 17th as medicine look to take the day at home.

After a loss in MD1 The bedmakers are looking to have the Gabbage specialists in bed atleast have 11 men in their beds, we spoke to the massage specialists veteran/technician of the side he said the HSFC are keen on making sure the bedmakers do not get a piece of them in bed but instead give them a spot in the many gabbage bags destined for the dumpsite. It shall not be an easy game he said..

To Conclude the day will be the much unexpected third placed Radiation FC facing the “De Morgan’s law and set builder notations” experts at 13:00hrs.
