CALL FOR U16 BASKETBALL TRYOUTS

The Zambia Basketball Federation hereby invites talented girls under the age of 16 to attend national basketball tryouts at the NAPSA Sports Complex on the 23rd May 2026 at 08:00 hour. The tryouts form part of the Federation’s early preparations for the Region 5 Games scheduled to take place in Mozambique later this year.

This initiative is aimed at identifying and nurturing young talent that will represent Zambia on the regional stage. Young athletes with passion, discipline, and the desire to compete at a higher level are encouraged to attend and showcase their skills.

The Federation remains committed to developing grassroots basketball and building a strong national team capable of competing at the highest level in the Region 5 Games.

Further details regarding dates, time, and requirements for participation will be communicated in due course.
