People are more interested in the results than the process/journey itself.

One of the essence of life is managing to jump the hurdles you face, and learn their purpose.

That gives life and a wonderful sigh

💔💔💔💔💔

The Zim 🇿🇼dojo's feel a little quieter today. The martial arts family mourns the loss of Sensei Mugo, a beloved sensei whose strength, discipline, and spirit inspired them. Every kick, kata, and moment of shared growth will carry the legacy forward.🥋✨

The warrior’s spirit never fades, it lives in those they’ve taught to rise."
Rest in power, Sensei 🕊️

Instilling martial arts and combat sports in children from a young age is not teaching them violence.. is give them tools.
🥋🙏

It's to give them security, because a child who knows how to defend himself walks more firmly.
It's to discipline them, because they learn respect and self-control come first.
It's giving them physical ability, reflexes and strength, because an active body is a healthy body.
And it's to give them judgement, to know when to act... and when not🙏🙏

In adolescence, when impulses, social pressure or conflicts appear, having self-defense skills can make all the difference.

Not to hurt... but to protect oneself🙏🥷

Martial arts doesn't make kids more aggressive , it makes them more aware, more focused... and stronger inside and out.

Never too young to learn life/martial arts skills 🙏🥷🙏

Every move, has life. It tells a story unforeseen by many, we live by a code of honor and integrity not for others to see but to have the feel of purposely living.

Shoshin (初心)
is a Japanese word that means "beginner's mind." It's a concept from Zen Buddhism and martial arts that encourages approaching life, learning, and practice with an open, eager, and unbiased attitude—just like a beginner, even when you're already experienced.

In martial arts like Karate and Aikijujitsu, Shoshin is about staying humble, always ready to learn more, and not letting ego or routine block growth.
It's a powerful mindset for training, business, and life in general.

“In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities,
in the expert’s mind there are few.”
– Shunryu Suzuki

Always train. Always grow. Stay humble.

I might not have had people to protect me when I was growing up, even maybe now but I am that person to protect everything that's mine now.
