Coach Evans Earns FAZ E Licence Certification

Lekishia Football Academy proudly congratulates Coach Evans on successfully completing the FAZ E Licence Coaching Course held in Lusaka, where over 150 coaches graduated with the Zambia Football Association’s foundation coaching qualification.

The closing ceremony was officiated by FAZ Vice President Mutale Ng’andu, who encouraged the new coaches to actively apply what they have learned and continue progressing through higher coaching badges. He reminded the graduates that the FAZ E Licence is only a starting point, and true value comes from using the knowledge to develop young players.

Lusaka Province FAZ Chairperson Jordan Maliti also challenged the coaches to dedicate themselves to grassroots football and nurture the next generation of talent that could represent Zambia at the highest level, including future World Cup teams.

FIFA Instructor Chris Chibuye emphasized that improving football begins with properly trained coaches, especially at youth level, making grassroots coaching education essential for the growth of the sport.

The FAZ E Licence focuses on youth and grassroots player development, equipping coaches with skills to teach fundamentals, organize training sessions, and build young players’ understanding of the game. It is the first step in the coaching pathway leading to CAF C, CAF B, CAF A and ultimately CAF Pro qualifications.

For Lekishia Football Academy, Coach Evans’ achievement is an important milestone. The knowledge and techniques gained from this training will directly benefit the children at the academy as the program continues to strengthen player development, discipline, teamwork, and football fundamentals at an early age.

We are proud of Coach Evans for investing in his growth and, most importantly, in the future of our young footballers.
