Article 71 of the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Regulations, which sets out the tie-breaking criteria when two or more teams finish the group stage on the same number of points.

The criteria are applied in this order:

1. Points obtained in the matches between the tied teams (head-to-head mini-league).
2. Goal difference in the matches between the tied teams.
3. Goals scored in the matches between the tied teams.
4. If teams are still tied after applying the first three criteria, then:
* Overall goal difference in all group matches.
* Overall goals scored in all group matches.
* Fair play (disciplinary record).
* Drawing of lots, if necessary.
