PRESS STATEMENT
Ntamba Mweru Football Club

Good morning to our supporters, the people of Chienge, and the wider football family.

The Executive of Ntamba Mweru Football Club wishes to officially inform you that the Club will not be participating in any FAZ Luapula League during the 2025/2026 season. This decision follows our expulsion from the FAZ Division One League after exceeding the number of walkovers.

As a Club, we made every effort to ensure that the LUAFA Exco could accommodate us in a lower league. In line with procedure, we wrote to the LUAFA Exco, but unfortunately, arrangements had already been made without giving our Club a fair hearing. It is deeply disappointing that those entrusted with governing football continue to show unfairness whenever matters involve Ntamba Mweru Football Club.

Despite this setback, our journey does not end here. As part of our rebuilding and rebranding process, we are loaning our players to clubs that are actively participating in Division One. This is to ensure that our players continue to grow, compete, and carry the spirit of Ntamba Mweru forward.

We call upon all our supporters and the people of Chienge to remain united, patient, and supportive as we reorganize and strengthen our Club. Ntamba Mweru is more than just a team—it is our pride, our identity, and our hope. Together, we shall rise again.

For and on behalf of Ntamba Mweru Football Club Executive

Masautso Mwale Remembered

Today we remember one of the greatest icon that contributed to Zambian football. Coach Masautso Mwale who led Nkana football club to win their 12 time league title in 2013 and also led Nkana to the group stage of the confederations cup in 2014.
Memorable games to remember 🥺
Nkana 4-1 Red Arrows
Mbabane Swallows 2-0 Nkana
Nkana 5-2 Mbabane Swallows (5-4 aggregate)
Nkana 2-2 Kampala city council
Kampala city council 1-2 Nkana (2-3 aggregate)
Nkana 0-0 Bizertin Athletico
Bizertin Athletico 1-1 Nkana (1-1) Nkana qualify to the confederations cup group stage.
The group stage comprised of
Sewe sport (Ivory coast)
Al Ahly (Egypt)
Etoile du sahel(Tunisia)
Nkana (Zambia)
It was a Friday when the coach was involved in a road traffic accident before the game against Sewe sport the following day. It's a sad day to remember and that match ended 1-1 with Sate Sate scoring for the host after Rodger Assale scored for the visitors in first half.
Continue resting in peace Coach Mwale.
