Shiwa Academy FC joins the girls football family, the women’s league, and the entire football community in mourning the heartbreaking loss of Theresa Musatila.

Theresa was more than a talented footballer. She was a shining light, a fighter, and an inspiration to many young girls who dream of playing the beautiful game. As a proud player for the Zambia Under-20 National Team and ZESCO United FC, she carried herself with passion, discipline, and pride.

Her journey, her talent, and her love for football gave hope to many young girls in the women’s game. Theresa showed that with hard work, courage, and belief, young girls can rise and represent their families, communities, and nation with honour.

To the girls league and the entire women’s football family, we have lost one of our own. But her legacy will continue to inspire every young girl who steps onto the pitch with a dream.
