🔥 TOO HOT FOR HORTA — MONTGOMERY FC WIN 2–0

Montgomery FC continued their strong run with a 2–0 victory over Horta FC in a match where discipline, midfield control and clinical finishing made the difference.

Horta started at a high tempo, determined to avoid another heavy defeat after losing 7–0 in the first round. Their tight marking made the opening stages cagey, but Dolia, Mukaka and Chandafira gradually took control of the midfield. Their width and movement created opportunities for Lenny, who was returning after a long absence.

The breakthrough came in the 17th minute when Chibira pressed the Horta defence into a mistake before finishing calmly to give Montgomery the lead and send the travelling supporters into celebration.

Horta tried to respond, but Montgomery’s defence of Brandon, Grayson, Hi**er and Davis remained solid, with Kudzi commanding the goal and keeping Horta at bay.

In the second half, Ngoro replaced Talent, and the change immediately added another dimension to Montgomery’s attack. Once again, Mukaka’s creativity proved decisive as he set up Ngoro, who calmly finished from close range to make it 2–0.

From there, Montgomery managed the game professionally, giving Horta little opportunity to threaten the result.
