Position: Trainee Sandblaster

Location: Harare

Summary: Distinct & Dustless blasting Company is currently seeking services of highly motivated trainee Sandblaster to join a professional, vibrant and energetic team. Under direct supervision of the Site supervisor the individual will generally perform interior and exterior surface preparatory works, equipment safety checks, able to operate equipment (i.e Industrial compressors and wide range of Dustless blasting pots & generators), assist main Blaster with sandblasting and minor paint works. The incumbent must possess good customer care and communication skills demonstrating basic understanding of job responsibilities and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Minimum required Qualifications: Candidate must be 25 years and above. A minimum of 1 year of painting or sandblasting experience. Must have knowledge of angle and distance setting of blasting nozzles for objects having unusual shapes. Must be able to interpret oral and written instructions in English. Able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
