The Heart Stadium

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿.

The Honouble Minister for Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture, the 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝘁𝗱. 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔.𝗡. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮𝘁𝘄𝗲, Permanent Secretary 𝗗𝗿. 𝗡. 𝗠𝗼𝘆𝗼, Deputy Chief Secretary 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗶, Acting Director of Sports 𝗠𝗿. 𝗩𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲, Director General of the Sports and Recreation Commission 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘. 𝗡𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮, and the Zimbabwe Football Association President 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡. 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘄𝗶𝘇𝗶 graced Yadah Hotel as early as 8:30 AM this morning and had a two-hour tour of the facility.

They came specifically to view The Heart Stadium, which we always cite as a prototype of what may be needed in terms of stadium development in the nation — though on a larger scale wherever the project is replicated.

The Minister commended our work and said, "𝐴 𝑔𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑓𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑑. 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑓𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑠 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑖𝑠 𝑢𝑝ℎ𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛. 𝐼𝑓 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦, 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑠 𝑎 𝑍𝑖𝑚𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑤𝑒𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑡," as he praised how private partners are helping to grow sports to their fullest potential.

We also discussed White City Stadium as an opportunity for renovation and upgrade, including the installation of a tartan track and transforming it into a state-of-the-art facility.

We then highlighted to him our vision for five-a-side football, beach soccer, and volleyball at The Farm Resort. He is quite excited to visit those facilities as construction takes its first leap.

𝗧𝗼 𝗺𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 — 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀.
