That's quite a legacy ... 11 epic tours in 11 years.

We have a couple of spots still available for the Adelaide leg of the Great Australia Tour.

This stage runs from December 9-19 and includes 5 games of cricket as well as Days 1 and 2 of the Test match between Australia and New Zealand at the Adelaide Oval. We will also take trips to the world-famous Barossa Valley wine region and other stunning spots in South Australia.

This is a great opportunity if you can't commit to the entire tour but would love the Occidentals experience, and would like to see the beautiful city of Adelaide and the surrounding area.

Congratulations to the 3 Occidental Cricketers named in the West Indies over-60s side for the IMC Over-60s World Cup, to be held in Toronto in August.

Harvey Mohamed has been on many Occies tours, Raj Chetana came on the very first one (to India in 2015) and Roy Singh came to South Africa in 2018.

Here is the itinerary for the Occidental Cricketers' Great Australia Tour of 2026, and what a three weeks it promises to be!

We'll kick things off in the vibrant, cosmopolitan, cricket-mad city of Melbourne, where we will play 4 games on great grounds.

Then we head out through the Victorian and South Australian countryside - including world-famous wine country - to the town of Mt Gambier, where we will stay for 4 nights, playing two games, including one in the crater of an old volcano.

After that, we continue on to charming Adelaide (recently named the world's most beautiful city) for 5 more games, and we will end the tour with two days at the Australia vs New Zealand Test match at the iconic Adelaide Oval.

Non-players are very welcome as well.

The Occidental Cricketers are a World XI-style wandering team comprised of players from all over the world. We welcome cricketers of any nationality, background, and age. We have been on epic tours to India (twice), Sri Lanka, Australia/NZ, South Africa, the West Indies, Southeast Asia, Zimbabwe/Namibia, and the UK. Everything is organised, so all you have to do is show up.

Here we go ... the Occidentals are off again, this time to beautiful Australia in November/December.

This will be our 10th epic overseas tour and our second trip Down Under.

We will start in the buzzing city of Melbourne, playing 4 games, then work our way down the world-famous Great Ocean Road, playing a couple of games along the way, through South Australian wine country to Adelaide. There we will play 5 more games (that's a total of 11 on the tour!) and finish up with Days 1 and 2 of the Test match between Australia and New Zealand at the iconic Adelaide Oval.

Even if you aren't a cricketer, you are very welcome to come as a non-player.

A second straight win has us on an upward trend as we approach the end of the Great India Tour of 2026.

We played the Agra Legends again at St. John's School and won by 17 runs.

Our innings of 199/9 featured a bunch of 20s and 33 to Sanju Varughese (plus quite a few extras!).

The local team fought hard after losing two wickets in the first over, but we came away victors by 17 runs.

We also visited a little place called the Taj Mahal, which wasn't too bad.

It has taken a while, but we have finally recorded our first win on tour!

The shift to Agra seems to have been a good omen, as the team recorded a comprehensive 49-run win over the Agra Legends.

Phil Weir was the Occies' star, hitting a fluent 74 (79 balls) and then taking 3/9 from 4 overs opening the bowling.

Kenny Girdharry scored 61 from 62 balls, adding 125 for the 3rd wicket as we posted a good score of 197/5 from our 30 overs.

After Weir knocked the top off the home side to have them 31/3 it was mostly plain sailing and we celebrated a win for the first time in two tours. Well done, boys!

It has been an eventful few days for the Occidentals as our tour of India continues.

We are still searching for our first win, as we have come up against some very able, aggressive masters cricketers, but we have learned a lot about how to play in Indian conditions.

We played three games in Delhi and just finished our third game in Dehradun.

Today we came extremely close to our first win, playing at Goyenka School in Dehradun, a nice hill town about 6 hours out of Delhi. Chasing 250 from 30 overs, we were well on target at 134/0 after 15 overs but we lost a bit of momentum and sadly fell just 7 runs short. Tom Robertson was the star, blasting 98 from 82 balls.

It was our third game in three days, so there are a few tired bodies around, but we are in good spirits.

We have been very well entertained by our hosts and are enjoying ourselves thoroughly.

Tomorrow is a rest day and we will explore Rishikesh and Haridwar and take a boat ride on the Ganges, before heading to Agra on Monday.
