We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Tapfumanei family and the Marondera High School community on the passing of Mr. Tapfumanei, fondly known as Tsvimbo, longtime Superintendent of Sussex Hostel.

He was more than a staff member, a mentor, a guide, and a father figure to many who passed through Marondera High. His dedication and kindness will always be remembered.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the legacy of care and service he leaves behind.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our own, Olivia Mutisi, who was part of the Marondera High School family, Class of 1990–1995. Olivia was a valued member of our alumni community and a proud product of Marondera High.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Mourners are currently gathered at Chikurubi Training School, Senior Officers’ Residence. Any further details related to burial arrangements and contributions will be communicated in due course.

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Gibson Chimkoko 🕊️

It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of one of our own — Gibson Chimkoko, a true Ndera Legend, who left us today, 24 July 2025.

Gibson was more than just a student; he was a pillar of excellence and leadership at Marondera High School. Serving as Headboy in 1993, First team rugby player, and Sussex Hostel Head, Gibson embodied the spirit of dedication, courage, and humility. He inspired many during his time at Ndera and beyond, leaving behind a legacy that would not be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. May you find comfort in the memories of his life and the impact he made.

Rest in peace, Gibson. You ran your race with honour.

🎓 A Legend Retires – Celebrating Mrs. Matombo 🍎

After decades of dedicated service, inspiration, and unwavering commitment to generations of learners, Mrs. Matombo is retiring. Tomorrow, 30 June 2025 marks her last day at the High School!

To so many of us from Marondera High School, she was more than a teacher — she was a guide, a mentor, a pillar of wisdom, and a second mother. Her classroom was a place of excellence, and her influence extended far beyond the chalkboard. Whether you remember her sharp wit, her calm authority, or the way she always believed in your potential — Mrs. Matombo left a mark on our lives.
Now, it's our turn to say thank you.
