It is with a heavy heart that we send out this communique in lieu of the loss of one of our Rugby stalwarts. Lagunya RFC has tragically lost one of our veterans, Mr Vuyo Vambe. Vuyo had managed the WP Disa team in recent years, earlier having had plied his trade in the midfield and at fullback. He had been a great source of inspiration and a superb mentor to many a generation of players during his active days in the game. He had also represented the Border Rugby Union during his playing days, prior to relocating to the Western Cape.

We have lost a Son, Brother, Husband, Father and Mentor to many. Also the family has been generous in allowing us to organize a fitting send off in the form of a drive-by memorial service as follows:
