Driven by Love for Netball, Our Girls showed Girl Power in Hwange
For the love of netball, our girls showed true girl power today as they faced Mabale Netball Team in the Matabeleland North Province Conservation Division 2 competition.
The match took place in Hwange, a sister town to Victoria Falls located 100km away inside Zimbabwe’s largest national park.
Victoria Falls Netball Girls Continue to Shine Away from Home
Today marks five years since the launch of active netball in Victoria Falls, a movement started to empower girls and boys through sportsmanship.
Kasambabezi Queens Netball Team, a consortium of local talent, celebrated the milestone by competing in the Matabeleland North Netball Association Division 2 bubble games.
The team traveled over 100km to Hwange Town to showcase their skills, enjoy the competition, and fly the Victoria Falls flag high.
