Fully volunteer-run, WEIRA supports over 200 women each year — offering safety planning, legal help, emotional support, and career coaching.

Women arrive frightened and silenced by trauma. They leave with hope, strength, and a path toward independence.

Every time before a championship, I get insanely nervous. And not even so much for myself, but for them—how they’re feeling, whether they’re calm, ready, if everything will go well for them… What if they get upset? What if they freeze up?

And every single time, when my little fledglings leave the nest and step onto that big stage, my heart pounds like crazy, and I forget to breathe…

And every single time—they soar! High! Bright! Sexy! Fearless!!! They’re scared, but they do it anyway! They push through, no matter what! They show themselves and their talent, their power, their sensuality to the world! They don’t hide, don’t wait for the “right moment,” don’t put life on hold! They move forward and stare fear straight in the eye!

It’s happened!!! Pleasure Point Studio is now 5 years old! For some, this might not seem like a long time, but for me, it’s a whole era. It all started with a little dream, with the first dance class, the first split. Step by step I’ve walked this incredible journey over the past five years.

We’ve been through a lot: the pandemic, a war, a recession. We’ve earned our bruises, fought through fierce competition at championships, moved across cities, traveled all over the U.S. But most importantly, we’ve always supported and inspired one another! We never gave up, and even when we fell, we got back up and kept going!

I feel so happy to be surrounded by so many incredible, bright, talented, and amazing people. I’m so grateful to God and life for every encounter, for every connection. Each person I’ve met has left a huge imprint on my soul.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been part of this journey! Thank you for letting me be a part of your life, your success, and your victories. Thank you for choosing me once and for continuing to inspire me with the creativity and new ideas!

PERFORMING - is…

… my love 😍 Countless, different, stressful, enjoyable, exciting, powerful, sexy, modest, nerves breaking, happy, silly, failing, winning… and so much more!

Ask me a fair question - “why?”

Here is the simple answer: I’m short 😅 I’ve been the smallest girl in my school class. I’ve been petite for my entire life, obviously)) 🥰 and people often didn’t see me in crowded spaces. I guess I developed some fear of not being noticeable at all. I was afraid of being invisible and small for this world, not to be able to shine bright like a diamond 🙂

And when I was on stage: everyone cheered me up, loved me, was inspired by me. And most importantly - I was VISIBLE to everyone!
So no fear anymore))

Basically performing always gives me this reinsurance and confidence that despite being petite, I’m still able to make the difference in the world and be noticed and appreciated.

And what is your reason to put yourself through all the stress of performing? 😁

We live in the world where adjective “Russian” sounds offensive. People feel guilty for being associated with Russia, feel shy to speak in public and reveal their accent, feel ashamed of growing up there… Many businesses change their titles into “Eastern European” just to avoid the stamp “Russian”.

I miss my homeland. I’ve never had a chance to visit my country for 10 years… It’s heartbreaking to never hug your parents, never hang out with your childhood friends. It’s devastating to watch your grandparents die and never being able to say last goodbyes.

My last performance at PSO was the result of feeling homesick. To choose Russian song for the USA pole championship sounded silly, but I did it anyway because I love this song… I love the singer… I love what I felt in my heart listening to these words… and I didn’t really cared if the judges would like or hate it.

What a coincidence that I won a title of the USA Pole Champion with a Russian song 😳

My performance wasn’t clean, it wasn’t perfect. Trust me. It wasn’t. There was something else that hard to explain and that I never felt before. For the first time I wasn’t feeling shy of being Russian (since 2 years ago), I was able to embrace my own roots and feel sincerely proud of who I am at that moment… - maybe that became the key factor?..
