Another session in the bag today we trained back and biceps, so many different variations of movements here because of how many different machines there are to target different areas!

Obsessed with this gym, the layout, the lighting, the facilities, the equipment. It's just awesome and I've only been here 5 minutes 🤣

Haven't posted in a while! I'm now pt'ing at in cambridge heath!! Here's where I'm at with my own goals, why not let me help you achieve yours? Today was a push session chest and tri with a finisher on shoulders! Dm me for any advice or to arrange a consultation or even to discuss online coaching.
Let's talk gym anxiety.
We've all been there, we've all walked into a gym and felt completely intimidated. When I first started training, I weighed 9st and at 6ft tall I was super skinny. I had 0 muscle mass and I was embarrassed to be in the gym.
But then I spoke to a guy who changed my perspective. He told me: w are all here for the same reason - we are all here to better ourselves and where better to start than the gym!
Don't let anything stop you from reaching your goals, whether you're big, small, thick or thin. Noone really cares what you are doing, noone is watching you or looking at you. Most of the time, the person you think is judging you is actually worrying that you're judging them!!
If you are feeling a little anxious about being in the gym, find me on the gym floor. Let me know if you are new and I will give you a quick tour so you don't feel lost. From there, let's work together to help you set some realistic and achievable goals. I can help you establish a routine that you will enjoy to help you kickstart your journey!!

Getting Started: where do I begin? We've all been there.
One of the key factors that I believe gets in the way of most people’s fitness journies.
Let’s talk Barriers.
Before I became PT, I'd never heard of 'barriers in the gym'. These are factors in a person life that influence their ability to workout/exercise or even just move more. They can be anything from fear of stepping into a gym to a long term injury and occur more than you think!
My biggest barrier before I started my fitness journey was feeling inadequate. I'd look around and see everyone else looking twice my size, lifting 10 times more than I could and it made me not want to step foot in a gym or workout although my goal was to gain size.
After training for a few months with some encouragement from friends and family, I came to realise that everyone is there for the same reason.
Looking back, I wish that at the time I had known Future Me - Mr confident in the gym, Mr I don't care who's watching or what everyone's lifting. I wish I had hired a PT. Someone to show me the ropes, someone who knew people in the gym and could make me feel less of an outsider in a new environment.
That's why I chose to make a career in fitness, I want to be that person who helps guide you through your fitness journey. I want to help you begin of your journey and teach you everything I know and applaud your progress along the way.
Another Barrier, some people don't want to hire a PT. Why? People I've spoken to in the gym have said because they think other people will realise that they don't know what they are doing or they might feel intimidated by a PT.
That's how I first felt when I started training I mean I knew what I was doing right? Wrong! Only since becoming a PT I've realised this and regret not seeking help to begin, Tell me what’s your barrier and why? DM me for details on this or even tips on how to overcome your barriers. I'm here to help you.
