I hold my hand up 🖐 my nutrition has been a tad off course lately with me "hoovering up" everything in sight which had set off a vicious circle of consuming all that is not healthy & nutritious!
My strength has not suffered,in fact, it has increased, but, so has my squidgy belly!
Last night was the final straw - time to take action and "get back on the wagon"
Training plan has now been tweaked and a weekly shop/eating plan created to ensure sufficient carbs are consumed post-workout (my downfall, insufficient carbs lead to hunger pangs which equals "hoovering up rubbish").
It is easy to fall off the wagon, but harder to get back on - the longer you leave it, the more challenging it will be x

Starting 11th May - morning sessions available at The Maden Centre, Bacup.
I want to reach out to people living in Bacup who struggle with motivation, lack confidence, want to train with like-minded people, want to take the first step to leading a healthier lifestyle.
Mum's who need "school friendly" class times and those who want to meet new people who would, otherwise, be at home, on their own.
Cost has been kept to a minimum to ensure affordability to all.
The sessions are suitable for all levels of fitness and no specific gym-wear is required - something comfy is absolutely fine!
The sessions will involve bodyweight exercises with a cardio element too and more importantly, they will be fun 😄.

Proud to have been part of Raising The Titanic.
Fabulous event, well organised and great to be part of a team, deadlifting to kick cancers arse.

As with a chocolate fire guard, body wraps do not work.
If you want to loose weight, increase your heart rate, get out of breath, lift, push, pull, drag, run, skip..........the list goes on.
Eat a healthy, nutritious diet with a calorie deficit to encourage weight-loss.
Don't look for a quick fix - look for ways to lead a healthy life that will last a lifetime.

Interesting article I shared a couple of years ago, including Katherine Switzer - a pioneer and activist for women being allowed to run marathons - with reference to the 1967 Boston marathon, were an official, attempted to physically remove her from the event!
