Beginner gymnastics is about learning from the start — building coordination, balance, strength and confidence one class at a time. No previous experience. No list of skills they need to tick off before they walk through the door.

A cartwheel might be what everyone sees. But a coach is watching so much more.

Are they listening to instructions? Can they control their body? Are they learning to land safely? And when something doesn’t work the first time, do they reset and try again?

These small things are what build the foundation for bigger gymnastics skills later on.
