Do you spend a major part of the day sitting?
Do you regularly run, cycle, or strength train your lower body?
If so, give your hips (and spine) a little lubrication.
Move slowly.
Seek the biggest range of movement in the target joint.
Prevent movement in all joints except the one/s being targeted.
Controlled movement may turn out to be harder than expected 😉 It can also help prevent tight, stiff and achy joints.

Neck and back feeling stiff and sore after a day's work?
Start with these 4 easy spinal mobility exercises to improve spine health and posture, reclaim mobility and reduce pain.
1) Cat/cow
2) Open/ close book
3) Dynamic cobra
4) Neck rotation with lateral flexion (side bend)
5 - 8 slow reps/exercise, on each side where applicable.
Go slowly. Focus on making the muscles surrounding the spine do the work, section by section. Try to keep all other body parts immobile, whilst moving the spine. (Video speed 2x)
