يوم نجزّأ السنة لأجزاء صغيرة ونوقف نحتفل بإنجازاتنا عالطريج، كل شي يكون أسهل ونقدر نركز دايم عالهدف الكبير.

Last week we revisited our Q3 goals and reflected on what we’d achieved over the past 12 weeks.

Breaking the year into smaller chunks and taking time to celebrate along the way has made everything feel more manageable and has helped us stay aligned with our north star.

Really proud of the teams’ efforts and what we’ve accomplished together this quarter.

Here are a few of the highlights from Q3:

🔹 We delivered summer community wellness sessions for ALDAR at the incredible Fahid Island
🔹 Managed the Fitness Challenge within the Fitness District for Ethara at the KBMZ Ju-Jitsu Championship in Al Ain
🔹 Collaborated with Department of Education And Knowledge to run two Multi-Sport Camps in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi
🔹 Delivered a record-breaking summer camp at Zayed Sports City
🔹 Launched an awesome annual wellness programme for Department of Community Development
🔹 Travelled the 7 Emirates with the HARAKA community
🔹 Delivered sleep and recovery seminars for Expo City Dubai
🔹 Built a growing community at Yas Mall and WTC Mall through weekly sessions
🔹 Launched the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 Community Engagement and Awareness campaign
🔹 Partnered with The Authority of Social Contribution - Ma’an to support with the delivery of the Fitness Journey initiative

It has been a busy quarter but excited for a big 12 weeks as we continue to grow out the team, take on some awesome projects and finish the year strong!

I often get asked about how I started learning Arabic so I wanted to put together a little video to explain my experience learning the language, how it has benefited me and dive into what I would do if I was going to start again.

Learning Arabic is certainly not something that happens over night, especially when you start, as you immediately become very overwhelmed and begin to question yourself;

- Which dialect should I choose?
- Should I learn the alphabet?
- How do I pronounce these new letters?
- How am I supposed to remember all of this?

(...and the best bit, why does everyone reply to me in English when I try to speak to them in Arabic?)

From my experience once you find the answers to all of the above and begin to understand the basic principles things become a lot, lot easier!

Learning and eventually speaking Arabic (not 100% fluent yet) is probably the best decision I made when I moved to the UAE in 2013. I now love the language, have met some great people from talking the language, understand the culture so much more and have been given some great opportunities both personally and professionally.

I love seeing other expats trying to learn Arabic and am more than happy to share any resources, tips and insights to help others get started.
