Clean up pretty well, don't we?
While our usual uniform involves whistles, swim caps, and a healthy amount of sunscreen, every now and then we get the chance to dust off the formalwear.
The setting may be different, but the mission stays the same: creating confident swimmers, safer communities, and opportunities for every person who steps into the water.
We scrub up alright. But we still prefer being poolside.

Some trends come and go. We’ll leave the disco balls to Spotify.
At ASA, we’re sticking with what works: safe starts, strong finishes, and a logo our swimmers recognise the moment they see it.
Consistent. Reliable. Still us.

On International Water Safety Day, a reminder that water safety starts long before anyone enters the pool.
Small habits, conversations, and precautions can make a lifelong difference.
Swim safe. Swim smart.
Because confidence in the water begins with safety first.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mamas and mama-figures!
Thank you for every early morning, every poolside cheer, every encouraging word, and every moment of support both in and out of the water. Today, we celebrate you.

Staff Wave Maker - Coach Deb
Nearly 9 years with ASA and every single one of them spent changing lives, one swimmer at a time.
Deb doesn't just teach children to swim. She teaches them to believe in themselves. Whether a child arrives at the pool scared, overwhelmed, or convinced they can't do it, Deb is the steady, trusted presence that helps them move through that and come out the other side with confidence they carry far beyond the water.
Favourite Memory at ASA:
Watching our POD swimmers compete for the very first time. The courage, the achievements, and the pride on their parents' faces, a moment she'll never forget.
Off the pool deck, she's a Kool & the Gang fan, a Mamma Mia lover, and a mac & cheese devotee.
Fun facts? She spent 27 years in education, starting as a classroom teacher and she's a proud mum of twins!
Deb, you are the definition of impact. Thank you for the trust you build, the courage you inspire, and the waves you make every day.
