Često me pitaju da li žene i muškarce treniram isto.
Moj odgovor je uglavnom da principi jesu isti — ali telo ne reaguje isto na trening.
Na primer, žene uglavnom bolje podnose veći broj ponavljanja, kraće pauze i često se brže oporavljaju između serija. Muškarci obično imaju veću eksplozivnu snagu i drugačije reaguju na intenzitet treninga.
Naravno, sve dodatno zavisi od godina, cilja, iskustva, hormona, stresa, sna, i mnogih drugih faktora.
Suština je da dobar trening nije samo u tome da se odrade neke vežbe nego da se program prilagodi osobi ispred tebe.
Posle skoro 30 godina iskustva, mislim da upravo te male razlike često prave najveću razliku u rezultatima.

I’ve been in gyms for 30+ years. Coaching people for a big part of that.
And I noticed the pattern that never changes.
Same people show up for 2–3 weeks,
push hard like something finally “clicked”…
Then they disappear.
A month later — they’re back. New resolution. New goals. A challenge…
Starting over. Again.
It’s not about the bad program. Or wrong diet..
They just don’t stay long enough
for anything to happen.
That’s it.
So in most cases I’ve seen or people I’ve worked with - it’s not information they’re missing.
It’s that gap between
“when I feel like it”
and
“I do it anyway.”
Most never close it.
The few who do?
They actually look like they train.

I turn 48 today. 😎
Looking back… my plan never gave a damn about my mood. That’s how I stayed in shape for decades. I realized early on that discipline wins.
Not every workout needs to be perfect, not every meal has to be the healthiest ever.
I played the game within the rules but free-styling. Most of the time.
And I kept doing the same till today. 💪

There’s no such thing as perfect timing.
There’s no “right age” to get started.
Age IS just a number.
The only thing holding you back is that voice in your head whispering,
“not just yet.”
For many middle-aged men, that “not just yet” from our youth eventually turned into “never” as we grew older.

You don’t just stop training because of injuries and all kinds of “setbacks”.
They’re inevitable...
You train around them, you train through them and that’s how you overcome them.
Don’t make lame excuses.
Have some personal pride.

You don’t get better physique by dreaming about it, making promises without ex*****on and looking for secrets..
No.
You get better by winning at the basic level, by making decisions and taking control.
You start by controlling what you can.
Yeah..
That’s where it starts.
“Should I go to the gym today?”
… and you make a decision to start showing up no matter what for infinite days.
“ Should I control my portions and what I put in my mouth?”
… and you make a decision to be fully aware of what’s going down and be alright with being hungry from time to time. For infinite days.
If you can’t win those small victories you can’t ask and expect more.
You’ll stay exactly where you are.
You get better by making small decisions, little changes each and every day.
For a long time.
You don’t just get in awesome shape accidentally.. you build and sculpt your body intentionally by putting in brutal work both in and out of the weight room.
