🐉💪 Still moving. Still training. Still showing up.
While current water usage restrictions have temporarily changed how we train, they haven’t changed who we are.
This week the team swapped paddles for land training, focusing on fitness, strength, teamwork and staying race-ready until we’re back on the water full-time 🌊
One of the things that makes Dragon Boat special is that it’s more than just a sport. It’s a team, a community and a group of people all working towards the same goal.
The water may be limited for now, but the momentum isn’t.
See you on the water soon 🚣♀️🔥

FINALLY back out on the water!!! It’s taken a while and still things are all up in the air, but we at least made it back together to share time out on the water tonight. A lovely sunset paddle at Fahid Beach Club. Hoping to spend more time with the DD crew! 🐲💛🖤

Even when we can’t be on the water, we’re still a team 💛🐉
In a time like this, where training is paused and things feel uncertain, what matters most is staying connected, checking in, and showing up for each other 🤝
From bowling nights 🎳 to simple check-ins, we’re making the effort to stay positive, keep moving, and remind each other that no one is alone in this
Because being a team isn’t just about training and racing—it’s about the people behind the paddles 💪
If you’ve been thinking about trying dragon boating or want to learn more about us, feel free to DM us 📩
We’ll connect and get you on the boat when it’s safe to do so… together 💛🔥

🐉🌙 Community Beyond Training 🌙🐉
At Desert Dragons we’re more than just a crew on the water.
Yes, we train hard.
Yes, we compete.
Yes, we chase podiums.
But we also value the moments off the boat — the conversations, the laughter, the shared meals, and the beautiful mix of cultures and personalities that make this team what it is 🤍
Our annual Ramadan Iftar is a reminder that dragon boating isn’t just about power and timing — it’s about community, respect, unity and showing up for each other beyond training 🕌✨
Different backgrounds.
Different stories.
One boat. One rhythm. 🐉

Open Masters 2026 🐉🔥
What a weekend for Desert Dragons.
Bronze 🥉 Silver 🥈 and a whole lot of heart.
This race gave us more than medals, it gave us clarity. We saw our strengths, we identified what we need to sharpen, and we proved once again that when this crew locks in, we are powerful. That final push in the last 200m? Pure grit. Pure unity.
We’re building something strong here in Abu Dhabi. Not just speed, but discipline, resilience, and team spirit. And we’re not done yet. End of season, we’re coming for more.
If you’ve ever thought about trying dragon boating, this is your sign.
We’re always looking for committed, positive, team-driven people ready to train hard and grow with us. No experience needed — just attitude and consistency.
Come paddle with Desert Dragons. 🐉💛🖤🔱
