This is the fan page of Velox, a f1 in schools team from the Indian High School Dubai. Meaning of our name :
Velox is the latin word for swift or rapid.
We are participating in the UAE National Finals Held in Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi in May 2013. We first participated as Die Rennlauffer and came 3rd overall...
Then as Swift and got the best Graphics, Presentation, Innovations and Team Identity...
Now as Velox, we are going to achieve the best not only in IHS or UAE but the World. We adopted this as our name for many reasons. Here is a list.

A proud moment for us all ...winning the Fastest Car Award and receiving it from Mubadala's Marketing Chief.
Earlier that evening our car clocked a time of 1.144 sec beating over 30 other teams representing various schools across U.A.E earning us the most prestigious category award at The F1 in Schools Technology Challenge' U.A.E National Event.
