A moment I will always cherish. 🇦🇪

I was deeply honoured and privileged to attend the reception by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, for our Jiu-Jitsu National Team following their achievements at the 2026 Asian Games.

My love and admiration for His Highness come from the heart. His humility, compassion and sincere care for his people have always inspired me. Being in his presence is deeply moving, and I feel immense gratitude for the warmth he extends and the example he sets for us all.

Such remarkable achievements are only possible thanks to His Highness’ unwavering support and belief in our athletes. His encouragement inspires them, and all of us working in sport, to give our very best to this country.

To our champions: thank you for raising the UAE flag high, for making us proud, and for showing the next generation what they, too, can aspire to achieve.

Building cities that move people. Building communities that thrive.

At LIVE X 2026, Fouad Darwish , CEO & Managing Director of Palms Sports, joined H.E. Aref Al Awani, Secretary General of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, for a panel discussion exploring how Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure, sporting ecosystem, and community initiatives are designed to make physical activity and healthy living an integral part of everyday life.

From world-class facilities to accessible community programs, the conversation reflected a shared vision: creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity—and inspiration—to move, participate, and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

We are thrilled at Palms to always stand behind and support Fouad Darwish having witnessed his leadership, vision and passion for sports and his eagerness to create largescale and meaningful impact through sports.

Throughout his increasingly valuable contributions to the Sports ecosystem, most recently as the Vice-President of the UAE Chess Federation, and his journey leading Palms Sports - driving growth, building high-performing teams, managing complex organizations, and developing sport at scale - has shaped the perspective he bring to the international chess community.

We are proud to support this next chapter and confident that the same values of discipline, strategic thinking, and long-term vision that have guided his leadership at Palms Sports can contribute positively to the continued development of chess on the global stage.

A new chapter of collaboration begins!

As Palms Sports continues to evolve beyond sports training, we are privileged to play a meaningful role in empowering generations and developing young people through the integration of sport, education and mentorship.

We are proud to announce a formal collaboration with two icons of the sporting world — Brazilian football megastar Ronaldinho and MMA pioneer Renzo Gracie — who join forces with Palms Sports and Aion Bridge to embark on a new journey dedicated to the development of Emirati youth through sport, education and mentorship.

We are especially honored to have the support and presence of Sheikh Zayed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan as we take this important step forward and begin what we believe will be a truly meaningful collaboration.

A partnership that celebrates not only the strength of the body, but the power of the mind.

At Palms Sports, we have always believed that true development goes beyond physical ability. Just as we invest in building athletic excellence, we place equal importance on nurturing intellect, discipline, strategic thinking and character.

That is why we are especially proud to mark the signing of our sponsorship agreement with the UAE Chess Federation — a partnership that reflects our belief in developing well-rounded generations, capable of excelling both physically and intellectually.

Through this collaboration, we look forward to supporting the growth of chess in the UAE, encouraging young talent, and contributing to a sporting culture where mind and body develop together.

An exciting new collaboration is taking shape as Palms Sports, Renzo Gracie, Ronaldinho and Aion Bridge come together around a shared ambition to create meaningful opportunities for the next generation.

Through a series of official Memorandums of Understanding, the collaboration will explore initiatives across sports development, youth empowerment and academic excellence; bringing together world-class sporting experience, education and innovation to help young people develop their talent both on and off the field.
