I Came back to the water after an amazing . Yesterday, Nautica Environmental Team showed a great interest in Marine Life and very good skills in their Discover Scuba Diving experience. They are all looking forward to their upcoming courses.
It was great to meet all of them and Also Dive again with Steve who did an Amazing Job as Certified Assistant.

شوهدت 5 أبقار بحر، نافقة على شاطئ جزيرة السعديات بإمارة أبوظبي قبل أسابيع، يعود السبب في ذلك غالباً إلى الغرق نتيجة التعلق بشباك الصيد غير القانونية، المعروفة محلياً باسم "الهيالي". نقوم خلال فصل الشتاء من كل عام بتكثيف جهود مراقبة مياه إمارة أبوظبي، كما نلتقي مع الصيادين باستمرار لدعوتهم إلى أهمية تجنب استخدام شباك الهيالي غير القانونية في الصيد، وعدم ترك الشباك بدون متابعة، وأن يخبروا هيئة البيئة - أبوظبي بمواقع الشباك المهجورة.

My self-appointed job is to inspire people to explore the ocean for themselves and to use their talents, whatever they are, to make a difference for the natural world. Part of that job is to spread the word that as top predators, sharks are fundamental to ocean health and they're certainly not enemies.

Interesting and fun weekend teaching Search and recovery speciality and Open Water Diver course. The visibility was amazing but we made it a little harder for the students to find the missing item. Their happy face tells a lot! 😊
