A three-hour leadership experience designed to build confidence, communication, teamwork and decision-making under pressure.

Every student will take a turn in command, tackle practical leadership challenges and receive coaching from former British Army officers.

This week, our Leadership for Life students stepped into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. 🚀

Working in teams, they developed business ideas, solved real-world challenges, pitched their concepts, and learned what it takes to turn an idea into reality. Along the way, they developed key leadership skills including communication, creativity, decision-making, teamwork, and resilience. 🤝 🎯

The future belongs to those who can identify opportunities, think differently, and take action. It was fantastic to see our students demonstrating exactly that. 🌟

A few brilliant conversations this week at JESS around the ethical use of AI and what it actually means for the next generation.

The students challenged each other on everything from AI in schools and social media to whether technology is helping us think more critically… or doing the thinking for us. Some really mature perspectives and impressive debate. 👏

At Front Foot, we’re big believers that leadership in the future won’t just be about understanding technology – it’ll be about understanding people, communication, ethics, and decision-making alongside it.

Even with schools temporarily closed, it’s still so important for young people to stay active, social, and connected. This weeks session was all about teamwork, confidence, communication, and getting the kids together in a positive environment outside of the classroom.

A huge thank you to .app for hosting us and giving us such a great space to continue running our sessions safely and professionally.

Each term, students build on the skills they’ve already developed, continuing to grow in confidence, communication, and self-awareness. It’s always great to see that progression in action, especially when they start leading, reflecting, and pushing themselves a bit further each session.
