Meet the team: Under 19 Womens team.
Before Amber and Hannah began rafting both were National champions in netball. Molly is also a kayaker and will be competing in the Sickline event in a few weeks and Maddie is a qualified kayaking coach. All 4 of the girls have represented GB in the R6 world championships in Indonesia last year. Alysha joined the team earlier this year, coming from the British canoeing's Legacy program in C1.
The team are sponsored be Vertex and are coached by Tom Quinn, who is a GB slalom C1 paddler. Tom has had the girls working on their fitness in the gym as well as putting them through their paces on the tough white water courses Lee Valley has to offer.
After a brief incite into the U19 ladies team, I'm sure you'll all join us in wishing the the best of luck in Al Ain!

A HUGE thank you from the team, to all who came last night, it was a fantastic turn out and we are so grateful to have so much support! We are pleased to say that we raised an incredible £1,575 ❤️🇬🇧 This wouldn't have been possible without the incredibly talented Rhys Messenger and our very own superstar Alysha who both gave up their time to sing for us! And of course all of our family and friends' generosity - we are very lucky girls and we promise to do everyone proud out in Abu Dhabi in 7 weeks time!
