First Wellness Wednesday of the year did not disappoint!

I’m having my busiest January ever (in the best way!), so I’m being extra intentional with the time between clients. Today I turned an active rest day into a two parter: a stretch class followed by a beach cycle with Kirsty who brought all the laughs 😂🚲

It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed in a city with so much going on I swear I’m still in 2025 and somehow already halfway through 2026 🙃

Posting this for accountability and as a gentle reminder for you too: make space for at least one day each week to do the things that fill your cup.

During a Zoom call the other day with a potential new client, she said to me, “I love your how real you come across and your confidence.” Honestly, that was one of the best compliments I’ve ever received. 🥹

Yes, I monitor my own and my client’s weight and measurements, but the main thing I always emphasize is their acceptance of where they are now and their confidence in their abilities and goals. 💪🏻

We all have our moments of unease and don’t always feel great about ourselves, but that is where consistency with exercise and healthy eating comes into play!

Let’s not let another Monday pass us by without keeping our New Year’s goals and resolutions in mind!

Whether it’s:
• Hitting your goal weight.
• Reading more books.
• Signing up for that course you’ve been wanting to take.
• Taking up a new sport or hobby.

Make a start today! Before we know it, December will be here, and you might find yourself regretting not taking action after seeing this post. 😉

The face I made when my client told me that a personal trainer in the community gym said she was “doing it wrong.”

1. Rude.
2. From what she told me, she wasn’t; she just had her feet in a narrow foot placement to target her vastus intermedius, which are the muscles that support the knee joint.

One of the main things I learned from my yoga course was that you need to be flexible with everyone’s anatomy. 🤗

Everyone can squat; some may just need adjustments, such as a bench, to make it work for them.
Everyone can touch their toes; some may just need to use a wall to make it work for them.

So unless someone is close to injuring themselves, please be mindful before “correcting” people if you have a closed mind about the human body and movement. 😉
