Spartans CC won the cup championship of the recently concluded highly competitive Sarvottam cricket league. Spartans came into the finals as underdogs against a star studded Carmooz CC, who was unbeaten throughout the tournament and also beaten the Spartans in their previous two encounters in the tournament. However, Spartans had outplayed Carmooz CC when it mattered the most in all three departments (Bat, Bowl, and Field). For his consistent all-round effort Jude Perera was adjudicated the Player of the tournament, who pioneered the feat for Spartans, and Upul was adjudicated the Best Bowler of the tournament. Spartans CC thanks all their supporters and followers who were behind them for this victory.
