Over the years as a trainer, Iâve seen many common misconceptions among the general public. I can confidently speak for many professionals in my field when I say these misunderstandings often create unnecessary barriers between clients and their goals. Our role is to educate and guide clients, helping them move past these beliefs so they can spot marketing myths, set realistic goals, and ultimately train smarter and more effectively for progress that actually lasts.

Strength isnât just built in the repsâit is also built in the rest. Optimise your strength programme by knuckling down on the correct periods of recovery in between sets to reach your goals.
Take 2â3 minutes between heavy sets to recharge your muscles and nervous system before attempting max lifts. In some cases, this can even be extended up to 5 minutes.
The right rest = more power, more progress, and more PB's. Training smarter, and with more structure to reach those goals quicker, and with less risk of injury.
