At the 32nd Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival, Open A Section, IM Richelieu Salcedo delivered an outstanding performance, finishing tied for 2nd–3rd place among 100+ FIDE-rated professional players.

He scored 7.5 points, achieved a 2333 performance rating, and gained an impressive +11.2 FIDE rating points.

And the success didn’t stop there.

In the festival’s Community Teams side event, IM Salcedo and IM Pimentel, competing as Chess Lab Masters, emerged as CHAMPIONS among 50+ teams!
