π§‘Presenting a Natwari ka Tukda in Madhya Laya, TeentaalβοΈ
Natwari is derived from the word *Natwar*, another name of Lord Krishna. It is believed that when Shri Krishna subdued the serpent demon Kaliya and danced on its hood, the rhythmic syllables that emerged from his feet were βTigdha Dig Dig Kran.β
Therefore, a composition that incorporates such syllables (Natwari bols) is known as a Natwari ka Tukda.
