Due to paternal genetics, I can see potential for bunions in my baby’s feet! 😭 So these are some exercises we have started for prevention. She already wears wide toe box shoes. & she has been wearing toe separators consistently. Every now and then I show her a bunion video so she takes the journey more seriously. 😂

And if you nourish the soil properly,
give it the right amount of light, pour the perfect amount of water, & be consistent with your love, the most magnificent thing can grow from that soil.
No, really. You’d be amazed by what you see.

I started running in barefoot running shoes a few years ago. Last year, I started running in Barefoot toe shoes. Due to my hyper mobility, I have collapsed arches. Running in these have strengthened my feet, ankles & calves so much! But wooo! It was a process getting my body to adjust to them!
I started with wide toe box barefoot shoes for running. & it was like I could feel my metatarsals spreading apart. lol. My feet were sore for some time, but I kept running & watched how my feet got so much stronger! I also used to have weak ankles. Baby, a heel would have me on the ground. 😂 That also improved after the switch.
I know this isn’t an ideal shoe for running for everyone, but I love them.
The most beautiful and amazing thing I’ve ever done is create a whole human that so much more beautiful, intelligent, & talented than me. I hope I can do it again and again! In Sha Allah! May Allah make it easy for us! Ameen!
